Best Target Summer Finds

I’ve been on a low buy this year so I’ve been avoiding the two places that are my money sucking black holes…Target and Costco.

I ventured back to Target after avoiding it for months and they’ve changed! Target has stepped up their game in healthy food (so happy to find Kombucha there), and the beauty department. They’ve always had great inexpensive clothes!

Serious Sun Protection

Best products to buy at Target. Inexpensive beauty products.

With all the sun damage I see in my treatment room, and on myself, I’m a big believer in sun protection. I’m ecstatic that Target carries one of my favorite inexpensive SPF lines. We stock up on the Sun Bum original formula and the sunscreen spray.

I’ve purchased many wide brimmed hats from Target, they always have a great selection. Keep one in your car or beach bag so you always have extra protection.

Finds For Your Feet

No summer look is complete without a great color on your toes. I like to own my own polish and take it in for my pedicures….have I mentioned I’m a little OCD about germs? I lost my favorite sunny orange Essie polish, a sign it was time for a change. I’m getting Watermelon and Out of the Jukebox, aren’t they cute!

Before you think of baring your feet, you might want to go to town on them with a good old, cheap foot file. If you’re feeling adventurous, I’m so happy to see the Baby Foot Foot Peel is available online. I’ve had my eye on this and have heard crazy good stories about it….like skin peeling in sheets good. My hubby once likened my heels to a mountain goat so I’ll be trying this soon.

Seriously, the man brings me gifts of foot files every summer!

Summer Travel Finds

Are you traveling this summer? One of my must have items is a folding makeup bag with a hook. Hotel bathrooms have limited counter space but I can always hang my bag nearby. This Sonia Kashuk Valet Botanical is gorgeous and the price is right!

Sometimes travel sized skincare isn’t cost effective so I like to make my own. I’m a sucker for clear bags with bottles and a jar.

Summer Hair Finds

I purchased Kristen Ess Weightless Shine Air Dry Creme on my last Target visit. Truthfully, the packaging sucked me in….it looks so luxurious for the price. I’m happy to report, on the twice per week occasions that I wash my hair, it works great. Enough so that I’m trying the shampoo and conditioner next.

This is the perfect product when it’s too hot, or you’re too lazy, to blow-dry. It has the right amount of shine without feeling greasy. Great for beach days!

Summer Clothes Finds

Best deals at Target for summer.

I’m a huge fan of linen pants, I don’t care how wrinkled they get. I have a pair like this that I bought at Target several years ago and they still look amazing.

These Wide Leg Lounge Pants say pajamas but I’d totally wear them outside! I’ve worn many “loungers” when I wasn’t lounging.

Now I’m going to share one of my favorite tips for summer! I hate for dresses to be too clingy and body con. If you buy a maternity dress like this or this one, it fits a little more flowy but doesn’t look like a maternity dress, especially good for camouflaging tummy pooch.

Wishing you a safe, and hopefully low cost, season of summer fun!

I’d love to hear about your recent Target Finds in the comments!
